Above is just a very tatty Ric bass in for a service/set-up etc. But - just a tatty Ric bass? oh no, because this bass belonged to Rock God LEMMY (apparently...!). It was covered in Hawkwind stuff so I think it's the real thing. Also Hawkwind being one of my fave bands this was great for me. |

Here's a nice old Framus, from the heart of Bavaria. I've always had a soft spot for these and this is a very good example, a nice job to do as well. I had to change the heads and set it up etc, but also carve new bone saddles for the bridge - most enjoyable. |

If you like old Gibsons this is the one. This was bought in by an old fella in his 90's, a real gent as they say. It had a bit of a buzz which the old guy found rather irritating when gigging! Yes he was still playing tea dances, so age is no excuse - let that be a lesson to you all. With a small bridge alteration it was as good as new, well as good as when he got it second hand in 1930-something. |

A lovely new bridge saddle made from water buffalo horn for Nick Tann's 12-string. |

I don't normally have any dealings with Double Basses but this was for me old mate Teej (from Red Jackson) so I couldn't say no! After all, glueing a neck back on this can't be much different from glueing one back onto a guitar, right? |
